Full Professor of Ophthalmology. The main field of her work: Retina. Director of the Ophthalmology Department at Tel Aviv Medical Center (Ichilov), Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, in charge of the Sydney A. Ophthalmology Chair. Fox at Tel Aviv University.
With seniority of more than dozens of years in the field, she created and nurtured prolific and productive connections with the best eye doctors in the country and the world. She won numerous international awards, including the Rosenthal Award, Patz Medal, Michelson Award of Macula Society, and the Silver Fellow Medal of ARVO.
She’s a member and holds a position in the leading retina companies and associations in the world, such as Macula Society and Euretina. She published more than 380 articles in the best of magazines. Uses as the main editor of Case Reports in Opthalmology Magazine, and is a deputy editor of European Journal of Opthalmology and Ophthalmologica.
Led innovative developments in the ophthalmology field such as technology for early discovering of macular degeneration, a home OCT device, technology for automatic discovering of retinal disease activity, and an augmented reality surgical helmet designed to replace the surgical microscope.
